In 1865 the First United Presbyterian Church was built on Sixth Street. In 1895 it burned down. In 1896 a new church was built. In 1909 the second churched burned down. In 1910 a new church was built. In 1960 the new Presbyterian church was built. Today the church is on Sixth Street.
