Library was first organized in 1915. It operated just north of Farmer's State Bank and later in the in the bank building. In 1928 it operated from the school building. In 1951 a new building was constructed. In 1980 it moved to corner of Young and Sixth Street which is city hall. It was moved to Hawley and Sixth Street and is there today.
