The Opera House began in 1912 when the Jesup Bank addition was built. The entire block was brick buildings. The K and B Egg Company was in movie theater. The opera house became a theater in 1949. In 1972 it became Nick’s place, tavern and apartments at 711 Young. Today it is an apartment.
