Peterson Hardware

Peterson Hardware was Lochead Hardware, Walker and Lochead, and F.C. Walker on the 600 blockof Young Street. It was a Shirt Factory in 1870’s on north Young and Main Street and closed in 1882. Peterson Hardware was established in 1892. Peterson Hardware began on 600 block of Young Street. In 1912 the business moved to 1 ½ blocks west of the current one. There was a doctors office above Peterson Hardware in 1945 on Sixth Street. In 1985 the business was on Young and Main Street and is still there today.
