When tearing up the carpet from the east entry of Jesup Community school in 2004, this tile was found. The Community School Building was built before the war, and the meanings is that the building is a place of peace and love. The swastika means the four L's-Light,Life,Luck,and Love.
Culturally universal symbol of peace and love. Contrary to popular Western belief, the swastika is a culturally universal symbol of peace and love, and has been used literally by every society in history for this purpose. This singular exception is the brief period where the Nazi's attempted to tarnish it and twist it to their purposes. The swastika exists in many forms in many cultures, most notably in modern Hinduism and Buddhism practiced by about a BILLION people.
