Jesup Watertowers

A windmill built over well about 1890. In 1902 a 312-foot well was drilled by Hawley Street across from the Fire station. In 1912 a108 foot water tower was built on Seventh and Hawley Street. In 1931 Jesup was painted on the water tower. In 1975 a new water was built and was finished in 1976. In 1976 the old water tower was was torn down. Today the water tower is on North Street.
